it really is a moving baseline. i know (of?) many wealthy christians that are able to AND DO give more than i can ever imagine and still have plenty leftover to spend on themselves. and i may be one of those that say $15 is too much for dinner while i easily and without reservation had quite a few dinners last month that cost twice as much or more.

i guess i don’t have that big of a problem with the spending, and you know i’m definitely not one of those ultra-cons that think everything in the world is evil. so i must lie in some gray abyss. it’s just that i wonder if there’s a point where it just becomes completely ridiculous…

that’s a good question. where do you draw the line though? is $15 for a dinner out too much to spend? some xtians would exclaim yes, and some would admit yes while eating their $25 dinners.

it’s a moving baseline, i suppose. find your happiness, stick to it, and only change when you hit those milestones
