theres a really cool browser add-on called FB Purity, that adds a heap of cool features to your Facebook pages, such as filtering out the spam and junk messages, and the really cool thing is it adds a “delete all recent activity messages” button to your profile, its been recommended by The Washington Post, CNET and Lifehacker, check it out here: http://www.fbpurity.com

My friends don’t need to know everything I’m doing. It’s why I was against FB in the first place. I want my privacy and FB should allow us to turn off the recent activity posting!

I think it does NOT remove it from your friend(s) News Feed.
